We landed in Ketchikan to board the vessel.

The voyage could not have been better with seas as smooth as a baby's bottom and perfect weather.
The Sea Bird only has 51 guests and a 10-foot draft so we could get into small areas where the big ships couldn't.
No shortage of water in Alaska.
Of course, the water has to come from somewhere.
